To all Yurp summit goers, there will be the Trophie Andros ice racing at Serre Che on 22nd/ 23rd Jan. If people are interested, let me or Bad_Roo know so we can tell Mulletizer who is keen to know numbers.

They pretty much race around the clock, so it wouldn't necessarily be at the cost of La Grave skiing.

Pretty cool to watch, those cars make a LOT of noise too. A trip there could be coupled with skiing Serre is it's crappy weather or just for variety. Too bad the race-track owners have cut down the trees one were able to climb up and see the race from. Also the no-see-throuh fences they put up have gotten a lot burlier lately. Apparantly because some bums where able to take them apart and sneak in some years back. Bummer.

That's pretty much the plan.

I figured some of the guys would want to ease in gently the first day at Serre and then in the evening we could eat some pizza and catch the ice racing. I'm working my connections to see if I can get any super hospitality laid on.

Then it'd be a late night skitter across the Lautaret back to sleepy LG.
