Mulletizer came up with this great idea for the La Grave mini. He is happy to organise a get together at the Refuge Chancel for us all which will include an evening meal (by candlelight, aaahhh) and bed for about 20 people. He reckons it will probably cost about 39 euros. You will just need to bring sleeping bags and be prepared to ski the Chancel traverse with a hangover the next morning.

Personally I think it's an excellent idea. Mulletizer has already had an evening up there and the pics were great. Maggots on La Meige..........sounds cool.
Let me know who's interested so I can let Mulletizer know (his internet access is pretty limited at present).

I am there from the 19 Wednesday evening to the 25 Tuesday noon.
Somehow, I think this will cause confusion with my reservations at the Gite.
Get me a date, and I will consider it. Best day for me would be Monday night, if I could ski back to town on Tuesday am.
See you soon.

In case I make it in (not certain yet however) it will only be until the 24th, sorry, I would love a gay's candle light dinner though. ;)

a) i don't have a sleeping bag and b) i don't sleep so good at anything over 2000m. i keep dreaming that i'm drowning and waking up gasping for air. not fun.
but it does sound like fun.

C'mon, don't a little altitude induced hypoxia ruin a good party. You know you'll regret it.
kind regards,
