Its not AK but maybe you want to ramble .

I know a bunch of people here that work fish gigs. Some are employed by the tribe some are subcontractor companies employees for the tribe . They work out of McCall . The guys I know are in the backcountry 10 on 6 off or something . I havent seen any jobs for the tribe in the paper but they do appear .

in California pacific states hires pretty regularly for seasonal spots and is a pretty good way to get your foot int the door with DFG if that appeals to you at all.

thanks, thats pretty much exactally what I'm looking for, counting fish in the winter so I can count fish year round would sure be nice
