i somewhat over heard something on something

you remember last year when i had gotama news around the same time, well i had a glimpse at the 04-05 possible skis.
nice.
shanouk , gotama and explosive get a new topdeck, thats ehm, a mix of the current one and the split graphic one...real nice. with sorta chinese/asian writting on the back. and well strong possibility of more accessible shanouks at human price...

thats sorta all i know. but, i didn't tell you.


can anyone confirm ?

The Shanouk's tail looks like it wouldn't handle tram docks very well (no metal end-plate thingy.)

Haven't heard that, but I did about choke to death when I saw the $1200 price tag at Sports Den. For that they should come with bindings, boots, poles, jacket, pants, helmet, gloves, goggles... Good God - people really spend $1200 on a single pair of skis??

you would be suprised how many people are willing to drop 1500$CAN for a pair of 6*. like that, no hesitation. the cost of the shanouk is increadibly high too...

Second that, we had people calling this summer wanting to know when the 6 stars would arrive and when they could pick them up.

Different strokes for different folks.

On that note anyone remeber the insanely high Olympic package that Dyanstar had going? Limited edition boots and skis, they were astronomical and got you VIP passes for the GS and DH races, if I remember correctly.

yeah, we still have them lying in the corner at the shop. its was like 2k without the vip passes 3 with. its in the make an offer pile

Guessing the one with the Asian characters is the Gotama, given the large green guy on the tail.

I think you're right about the new v-pro. and teh one on the right is def. the explosiv (but i know shit and gape so take that w/ a grain of salt)

Look closely, the Gotama still looks like it's twinned it's bending light in the tail, maybe not as much as this year's model.
