Looking for a seasonal cook in our kitchen at a seasonal resort in Elkhart Lake, WI.
Family owned place since 1910. Super cool family and crew works here, I've been here 4 years now as some of the other restaurant staff. Elkhart is home to the Road America race track and the resort I'm at is called Siebken's (http://www.siebkens.com/). It's the place where all the race teams want to come, place is saturated in racing history from every big name you can imagine so its got quite the nostalgic feel. Town is small ~1200 people but there are neighboring towns that are a bit bigger ~5K+ people where rent prices drop dramatically.
This is a from-scratch kitchen. Looking for some one who has experience and can handle 10+ hour days and knows how to hustle. I put in 50-60hrs a week so I can work PT in the winter in CO. There's close to 20 of us that work in town through the summer and spend our winters in Colorado and California.
Open Memorial day through Labor Day, with functions into late Sept. - Oct. Perfect if you're into the seasonal gig on a lake in the summer and mountains for the winter.
