Nice pics, especially that first one. How fast do those waves come in? Smooth looking, but they don't seem that far offshore...

They didn't seem excessively fast or anything...but my ability to compare is limited. THey did jack up faster and more distinctly than Stinson or Bolinas though.
Cron is a pretty steep beach and it's almost point-breaky at times. If you got lucky and were in the right place at the right time (maybe that's not luck?) you could get rides from where the dude is taking off in the 1st pic to where the 2nd pic tails off, basically riding the wave around the cliff.
