Man down. :(

7:30 am Monday morning I was picking up my phone off the ground bent over and a huge sneeze caught up with me and "POP" is what I heard in my lower back. Have had 2 bulged discs in my lower back 6 years ago. Monday I did one of em again. Well, we hope it is only one, swelling is bad and I cant sit or stand without enormous pain. On my knees right now to type, in a back brace that seems more like a girdle, hurts to breathe.

Doc said my back was in a weak state. Told him my activities the days prior and he said I was lucky I did not blow it on the mt, would have been a sled ride down. Have numbness in my left hand and right leg. Fack.

Had to ride the couch last night as I needed the support from the back of the couch, bed hurt. Home from work MANDATORY from the doc. Eating vaca time for my daughter and in pain. Not happy.

Karma is a bitch and I am now eligible to move my ass into Gimp Central, not a place I like to be or even visit.

Appt in the am to look futher is swelling is down.

Oh, man, Buzz, really sorry to hear that. Hope it seems worse right now than it really is. As PO'd as I get thinking about my ACLs, I for one count my blessings that I've never done anything to my back.

Sorry to hear about your back. At least I broke my wrist skiing. ;)

I had my back go out a few times, and it's no fun. I've since learned some excercises and streches to help it. It rarely goes out now. So I'm very motivated to keep up the excercises.

Hope you are better very soon.

May be skiing in 3 weeks!!!! Carefully. Boarding only the pow to stay easier on the back.

Plus I had so much fun skiing, I want to practice more and get "ski" legs again.

Plus I want to look sexy with said "ski" legs for my wife. :D

Sorry to hear that - what a total drag.
