Howdy.
So I managed to tomohawk over a very nice, soft series of rocks and blew my skis off. When i went to put one back on, I noticed that the AFD of my FKS toepeice sheared clean off right below the lower screw holes. It was a clean break, but needless to say, the piece is long gone and it appears to have been integrated into the lower toepeice assembly (ie no replacing it as a single part). Now my boot has about 1 to 2 cm of play in the toepiece... essentially not usable unless you are skiing with grandma.
Got the bindings used with only two days on them... so no receipt for warranty. Any suggestions? I am considering epoxying a chunk of plastic or metal the same thickness as the AFD in place as a temp solution. Anyone have a free toepiece they want to throw over?
Cheers
