This isn't kiteboarding. This is kitesurfing. Welcome.

Short lines (15m to 18m is recommended) and directionals. It'll be the greatest thing you'll ever do for wave kiting.
Julio- anytime... Well probably next spring though. Moving to tha-hoe for the winter on wednesday.

Great photos and stoke!!!
This forum is either going to get me divorced or locked up in the "Looney Bin". I'm at a point in my life where I realize that it is time to relocate so I can enjoy my passions without big breaks in between the seasons.
Also, what is your opinion on Caution Kites? I'm in the market for a new 16m and Caution is on my list. Currently I'm flying Ocean Rodeo and love the durabillity of them but I'm thinking of trying something new.

Caution fucking rules. They are recockulously strong. i.e. I've seen Cabhrina's get rolled by one measly 4 foot wave and get torn to shreds. I've put my Caution's through 3 wave sets of 10 foot mackers, and the thing will not only be in one piece, but will also relaunch. But, then again, my opinion is biased so check www.kiteforum.com (actually kiteforum just got hacked but should be up in a couple of days) and search Caution. There are plenty of threads related to Caution kites.
Caution also has underground cool thing going on. I overheard some dude up in S.F. say, "Caution, I've heard you have to know someone or the owners or something to buy those." He looked amazed that I was on Caution kites.
The 16m is a good kite too. Super fast for a 16.

Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely gonna get me some short lines asap, I'm still on the 28m. I'd also like to try out caution kites someday, I hear they are frickin bomber. You don't see too many of them in the gorge though. I am currently on slingshot and while I love the one-pump, it's just so easy, as I do more wave sailing I might want to make a change.
