Does anyone know of a good shop in either the Boston/Eastern Mass. area or Manchester, NH area that has the wide FKS jig? I'm trying to get some FKS bindings mounted on my Viciks. Ken Jones in Manchester is where I usually get stuff done, but they don't have the jig. I called Summit in Framingham, and the woman that answered the phone seemed confused by the question. Also did some searching here and couldn't find anything.

East Coast Alpine have done all my mounts in recent memory. They started to carry FKS again when they were re-released last season. The Danvers store has the wide FKS jig fro sure and I am almost 100% so does Comm ave. They have done fine work. They just mounted FKS on some 191 LHasa's for me. Aaron or Sandro should be in the Danvers shop but with the new location they may be moving around a bit.

Straighten brakes in a vice using a small diameter steel tube, mount bindings, bend round ski. Done. (They become a bit sloppy, but work just fine)

Thanks. I'll give them a call. I also might try and get them mounted up at Jay Peak this weekend. Hate to be without my boot for part of the ski day, but if they have the jig it's probably worth it. And it seems like people have had a generally good experience getting stuff done there.

Just did this, I am by no means an experienced ski tech and had no issues whatsoever mounting a pair of narrow-braked FKS course onto some Big Troubles. Measure twice, drill once, and take your time.
