I was just on my photo forums, and there is a photographer posting who is covering it.

He had this to say:
4PM nrth Bouy reporting swell at 16 feet with an interval of 16 seconds and it is getting bigger. All warning are out and to top it off the peak is going to happen at High tide and the tide is 2.5 feet over mean, which means the roads are going get covered........ho! so lucky to live Hawaii and get buried by waves!! Shoots!!
