Looking to head out to Whistler jsut after Christmas and flights into Seattle are way cheaper than Van. Anybody know of cost/frequency/availability of shuttle services to Whistler from Sea-Tac? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about a shuttle service per se... If you are ambitious you could bus/cab it to Seattle, train it to Vancouver, bus from there to Whistler. Or you could obviously rent a car. Good luck.

If you are trying to do it on the cheap (as in you have more time than money) you can get from Sea-Tac to Vancouver with this outfit:

http://www.quickcoach.com/

It looks like it is $41 US each way ($74 round trip)
Appears to only be like 4 runnings a day or so, and depending on where you get off, you might have several stops at hotels in Vancouver along the way.

I don't know where the shuttles run from Vancouver, but I imagine there must be some sort of group transport available from the Vancouver Airport to Whistler.

The Whistler/Blackcomb website shows this for getting there from the Vancouver Airport

http://ww1.whistlerblackcomb.com/getting_here/trains-buses-taxis/perimeter/index.htm

round trip $130 CDN (~$103 US)

Might be worth asking how far away the bus stops are for the two independant services you are trying to connect at the Vancouver Airport. If you have some weight, you might be able to pull it off with one of those rent-a-cart things.

There probably are train options, but you might have to take a taxi to get to train stations and stuff.
