If anyone (especially in the Tahoe area) has a left over right knee brace, I would be eternally greatful if I could borrow it for a month or two. If you're elsewhere, I'll pay shipping, and ship it back to you when I have insurance and can get my own. Thanks in advance.

Not such a great idea. If it is a custom fitted brace, most are, chances are it won't fit you. Which translates into poor protection and uncomfortable to wear.
You can however find some decent off the shelf ACL braces that can be form fitted to your knee that might be useful

Yeah, I wasn't exactly looking for a custom brace. As far as off the shelf ones, I am on the upper range of a medium based on calf(14")/thigh(20.5") measurements, though a large could probably work too. I just don't have $1000 to drop on one.

Well, I thought this could work, but I guess not.
Can I at least get some reccomendations? How are PowerForm, EVS, DonJoy, CTI, and Bledsoe braces? Any to stay away from?
And, if anyone has a rightknee brace that they're not using, I am without an ACL and without much money. I would be forever indebted and can repay with ski/snowboard schwag or beer money when I can. I measure 14" calf, 20-21" thigh, so something in a medium or large should work, as long as it's not custom.

Sorry - all I've got is a custom left knee brace (Donjoy Defiance).
You might try here (both for off the shelf brace info and maybe finding a used brace):
ACL board (http://www.factotem.org/cgi-bin/kneebbs.pl/#220178)
and http://www.medica-dme.com/catmenu.html has off the shelf braces. Looks like they range from $300-450. I think the Legend is the off the shelf version of the brace that I've been using.
