Freeride strikes again. They really never fail to impress. Check the Stomping Grounds show that's in the FuelTV loop right now. The night shoot (http://chadspector.com/blog/2010/06/16/so-close/) I did with them after that event was supposed to be for this flick but was rained out for the most part. Doubt anything will make the cut as Paul Bas and Semenuk only took a single run each on the course before it was total slop.

Not much else to say. I had to plug it into TV. which doesn't happen for teasers normally. It was like he was skiing.

That is the most recent bike footage to get me to say, "WOW, HOLY SHIT!".
Biking has gotten to a similar point that skiing has reached. Terrain has started to dictate the equipment.
A big however, for mountain biking, is can the terrain sustain the demand.... in specific regards to these untouched soft "dirt/sand" zones?
That's my question, call me crazy?

un-freakin-real.
AND, to answer Gunit's question, soft dirt sand in that part of the world is going to be filled in again and change after every wind storm...right?
Someone get those kids a heli. Just amazing.

This is exactly what popped into my head. Demand for this type of riding is on the rise, but so is public outcry against it. Of course they went to the gobi desert to shoot, if they did that stateside, people would lose their fucking minds. Its awesome to watch riders of that caliber progressing the sport so much, but it is, at present, doing little to nothing for (if not working against) mountain bike access advocacy. It sucks, but seeing this makes people identify mountain biking even more with motorcycles/atv's.
That is really cool stuff to watch, though.

So LeeLau brought this up on Pinkbike- this is not "the roots of mountain biking". (Personally,) I don't really need them to try to push that side of the their story.
Anyways, with movies of this caliber, I don't think they need a message besides "this move will MAINLINE RADNESS TO MELT YOUR FACE.":D

Slight thread hijack... in the NWD 10 teaser do I spy Sol Vista, or just a resort that looks similar?
That just blew my mind at what people are doing on mtn bikes! Aweosme.

Anybody remember the name of some of those older vids? I cant even remember the name of the rider right now..... I do remember some Canfield frames, Fatty fats maybe??? And DH rims laced to Motorcross hubs.
