does this position HAVE to be local or could this be done remotely..I have an AWESOME data guru in mind, but he lives in Utah...this is literally right up his alley...he does this for a fortune 500 now.

Yes and No - it all depends on the situation and the experience level of the particular individual. You work 100% for our clients, so you most often need to be wherever they are. It never hurts to pass a resume around though.
