Surfing Baja

Might be going to Baja for a couple weeks at the beginning of December. Where's some good spots to hit up as a surfer who completely sucks balls? Do I have to go to Tijiuana to catch a donkey show? Is it possible to catch a ferry from Mazatlan to La Paz?

Check out sites like Wannasurf or Surf Baja for wave info. If your into the donkey thing, then YES(just dont take her to your room afterwards :D ). Ferry goes from La Paz; but that is a heck of a drive from local TJ.
