Was looking through my photos this morning and found these from last winter. Was down in Orange County visiting the parents and scored with some sick surf on the beach I cut my teeth on. This is a point next to a popular beach break spot that only lights up on a big juicy swell and fires when the tide is right.

That's some serious juice for SoCal ! I'd be all over it.

This was one of the biggest swells of the winter. The adjacent beach break was closed out along with most other places, besides trestles etc. The combo of the juicy swell and a negative tide made this fickle point break go off. This day was likely the best I've seen it...
