I'm thinking of taking a job teaching (part-time, 14 days min).
Any experience?

I patrolled Alpy about 15 years ago (man...has it been THAT long?!!) It was okay - they were pretty tight on bennies and the time commitment was brutal but having access to the BC was priceless.

A co-workers son teaches at Snocrummy. If you have a specific question let me know and I'll pass it on (provided no one else here answers first).

Patrol is a huge time committment. I shied away from it for this reason. Obviously I'm not doing it for the huge pay (minimum wage, not sure it will even cover gas) and I am sure whatever pro-form I'll have access to will be limited (and no I am not considering a level 2 PSI cert to improve that). I spoke to a few of them and they looked like nice people. We'll see. I certainly hope to have the opportunity to get a good tour of the BC from the locals.
