Alright, I've been working with Jackson Hole for a bit and finally have some beta for those trying to score some lodging or get discount lift tickets.

They have thrown together a package for 4 nights/3 days that is $289 per person based on 4 ppl. in a two bedroom condo. This includes lift tickets for 3 days.

They have expressed an interest in you calling them direct. Let them know you are part of the "TGR trip in February". thier number is 800-443-8613.

If you do not need lodging, or do not want to go through JHRL then you can still get discount lift tickets here is thier words on that.

"People only buying lifts are eligible for the 3 day group rate which I think is $168 and I can set up through the ticket office." This is 11 bucks off the $67.00 lift ticket price.

So, those of you looking to get a cheaper place give them a call.

Sweet. Good work, frozenwater.

For the lift tickets, do we have to buy in advance or will we just show up and say we're part of the TGR group? Also, are they for three consecutive days or is it one of those three-out-of-four days deals?

SaAaH (and details can wait),
d.

edit: just checked out the site and that answered my second question ($168 = group rate for 3 of 4 days). New anal question: are we eligible for the group rate for the 5 of 7 days ticket?

ah hell guys. I don't frickin know. - I emailed them back and will find out the answers. I'm guessing it expires when the summit ends though, and the lift tickets probably have some restrictions on them.

Yeah, sorry. Didn't mean to barrage you with a bunch of antsy questions. I'm just, well, antsy. Loads of time to work out the details.

SaAaH (and appreciative of all efforts and deals),

Thanks Fritzlwattle. I'm trying to smoov the gal into going, but it's a tough sell because of the little ones.

Failing that sale, I'll try to materialize for a long weekend...

These deals are from the first go round. I have an email in with the director of group sales, and am hoping for slightly better pricing on tix.

With the snow starting to accumulate here I find it harder and harder not to just stare at the mountain and the surrounding bc. Lines are begining to clarify, ribbons of snow are appearing between cliffs, and my mind is just blowing with the possibilities of this place.

I can't wait to see the first looks of those who have not seen the expanse that is Jackson, it still blows my mind.

So, could you get that deal twice and get 8 nights for (289 times 2... let's see carry the 1...) $578? I was actually considering being there for 9 nights (friday night to sunday morning).

Any idea what the room setup is?

Thanks a bunch to all the people putting their effort into this!

thanks frz.

Do those 2 bedroom places (based on quad occupancy) have 4 beds or two? Sharing a room I don't mind, but sharing a bed "that's hot" (reaches into pocket, grabs .37 cents and mails it to Paris Hilton).

Hey, this summit is a time for bonding. One bed, two beds, it's all good :D

I'll throw it on my list of things to bug em about.

come on now guys, I am dissapointed here. $289 per person for a 2 bedroom condo. Well what do all condo's have that ski bums like?

that's right.....FLOOR SPACE.

Bring a sleeping pad or an inflatable mattress find other maggots to split the space with and bingo, you are in for super cheap.

Lets not forget that this is a killer deal too. ticket price for 3 days with frozen's deal $168 subtract from $289, carry the one....hold on I can get this, jesus you are only paying $121 per person for 4 nights lodging, upon further math, that is only $30 a night. I say DAMN that is a good deal.

Heck this is almost as cheap as Hostel X if you were crammed in with 3 others in a 4 bed room.

Good work frozen :fm: , thanks for the hook up.

Good work frozen :fm: , thanks for the hook up. What he said plus Hostel X has not Kitchen fac. which a condo has for your self- a beer fridge and at least breakfast in condo saves quite a bit of $$
