View Full Version : Recording a Skype call?
Can it be done? I have a video conference that I'd like to record but aside from putting a camera over my shoulder, can it be done in-computer?

It definitely can be done. I know the twit network (www.twit.tv or www.live.twit.tv) is done using skype to get both the guests video and audio. Obviously they have a fairly advanced setup but it is definitely possible. Not sure what the simplest solution would be.

Alas, no. It's me vs. a really old University.

If you happen to have a Mac with Snow Leopard( or maybe just Quicktime X) you could use the screen recording feature, not sure if it captures audio though.

pc gamers use programs like fraps to record the screen w/ audio on windows, I assume you could use it to record skype as well if you don't find a better solution.
