It's like he's saying, "Stupid human. Why are you taking my picture? Just let me go chomp on my bone and bury it in the backyard. Or take me hunting or something. This is pointless."

Hmmmm...on second thought it look more like he's striking a classic pose. You know, kinda like a portrait of George Washington minus the tights. That regal posture, the look of confident indifference...it's as if he's saying "Yes, I'm the man."
