Cuff alignment with the canting screw (Axon): back out the allen-screw, flex all around, allow the larger canting ring to position itself accordingly..hold it in place then tighten the inside screw back down, correct? But on one boot the screw just clicks around and never finds a locked-in position.. I'm hesitant to keep spinning it in place and am wondering if it's stripped or what? Any thoughts? Help appreciated..

sounds stripped ,I think that screw is a captured screw so it doesnt come out ... talk to garmont

BTW I got the zena which is the endorphin <25 and I found I can loosen every fastener on that boot by just skiing it so I check all the screws every few weeks

After the screws backed out multiple times I ended up having to epoxy the heads of the 4 phillips screws holding the walk mechanism in the back of the boot

Try taking the liner out and grabbing the nut that holds the canting screw inside the shell. It might just spin around freely if you screwed out the allen completely.

looking at mine now

assuming the axon is the same as my xena/endorphin (Garmont AT of the same era ) the nut is a big square, it sits in a depression in the plastic and can't spin

I can see the end of the screw and it was peened (captured ) over so the hinge wouldnt fall apart if/when the screw got loose

Since mine loosened all the time I am assuming these boots were skied with loose screws which fucked the threads ?

it is not going to come apart or go togetehr with just an allen wrench
