So I ordered the Flexon Pro T from skiershop.com in the beginning of September, and have yet to recieve my boots. I just talked to them today and it seems like they and Raichle don't know when they are getting the flexon Pro T in, and if/when they do get the boots in they will not come with the stiffer tongues.

So I have 3 options, either get the Flexon Pro even though I want a stiffer boot, get last seasons lange 120, or pro-form some Sollie boots and save a bundle of cash.

The salomon boots are my first choice, but I'm not sure if I could get them to fit me. Should I just buy them in a smaller size and hope they pack out well, or are there any methods to making a boot made for wide feet fit a narrow one?

I wouldn't suggest getting boots that don't fit your feet well. Maybe you should try the course race and pro model because they are made on a narrower last. That and they won't pack out much. I'd say try some on and if they feel like they could work then go for it.

Listen to UTDave. I had a flexon for years and actually have a Salomon foot. Salomons (at least the x-wave series) has a wider fit and more room in the instep. If you have a flexon foot (narrow with low instep) the Couse or Promodel would be your best bet for a Salomon, but I'd still suggest you hunt for what fits your foot the best...

Thanks for the advice. I geuss I'll give them another week and then either get the Flexon Pro or the Lange. I'll check out the promodel, but even though its super-cheap it wouldn't be worth it if I had to buy another pair next season.
