Do a quick search. "tele" "legend" "pro" brought up numerous threads like this one (http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109969&highlight=tele+legend)

No experience on the pro, but my 8800's are fun as a tele set-up.

Let me know when you find one of those free healers. I'm still working on health insurance and need to get surgery on a tendon.

I think Ottime is talking about the Australian healers that someone has up for grabs. I heard they make great ski dogs, especially tele.

I've been on 1st generation race room orange 186 LPs tele for a couple of years. I don't kill it, but the skis kill it. Ended up moving the mount back a couple of cm from my first go -- much better with that stiff tail.
I say go for it. LPs stab and destroy soft snow more than they float and take extra input for slow speed maneuvering, but aside from that they are outstanding everywhere and make either short and long radius turns with ease. I can't think of a ski I'd rather be on in variable conditions. Point and shoot. I know exactly how those skis will respond -- flawless.
Now if my legs were only flawless in sustaining the energy input those skis need tele. After about a half day, my legs are noodles. At this point I am looking for something that approaches LP performance but has a little more tele forgiveness for old guy desk jockey office ass blah blah bah. You get the idea. :D I just have to decide whether I keep the LPs and toss some alpine binders on them or release them into the wild.

ha! Gawd I was a grump (and mis speller) at work last night. I'll let you know when I come across a few free healers, but they may not be realiable.

Good review of the LP. A few options are (1) go with a shorter length. The 176 is still a solid ski, but requires much less input (2) the current year's model is much softer and less work than 1st gen race room
