Race leader Menchov goes down on the time trial final stage of the Giro. He manages to get back up and still win only losing a few seconds. That team mechanic deserves a bonus.

That was just nutty, and yeah, that guy was right on top of it.

That was definitely insane, the team guy was out of the car bike in hand before the car even stopped moving. I don't know if it's in the video clip but on TV they snuck a peak at Menchov's leg through a tent flap, had a big hole in his leg at the hip bone. I'm sure adrenaline carried him through to the finish.

bad ass on all parts, great work by the tech, and i cant imagine going down like that and finishing a ride with not hesitation as he did.
