This is a public thanks to wi3dzmin and mntlion. To wi3dzmin for having the same problem as me and to mntlion for divulging the answer. I had backed the toe height adjusting screw out too far. Then it wouldn't go back in. I was stuck, the ski shop didn't know what to do. Was preparing to have to spend money on replacement bindings when the answer came from here at TGR. Simply turn the DIN housing (with spring) all the way out. Then the toe height screw can be threaded back down in where it belongs. Now the DIN assembly can go back together. Thanks a bunch, Slow learning Gary

see and even with the beer that you can buy me, it is STILL cheaper then buying new bindings ;)

now you just have to glue the smashed-in-anger plastic bits back together and you're good to go!

I can't believe the shop didn't know what to do...I've only mounted a handful of bindings and I've had to figure that out

Plastic parts survived my wrath.
