It is currently 2-1 in favour of Summit.

Does it really matter who posts what, where, when, and how when you think about it. Everybody loves skiing that posts on both boards. That is what matters most right.

Flame wars are flames wars. Take them for what they are. To be honest I learned alot from the replys to my post on the gear mag issue. Some of the replys gave me ideas to help make my test more valid, thus helping other fellow skiers.

So you can always learn something no matter where you go. Sure some posts in that thread were self promoting for profit. But most just post up like eveybody here does. They just love to ski, and that is what matters to them. People can see through others when they are trying to take advantage to make a buck.

I can't wait for the snow to start to fly, so the flame posts will tone down again till the first of June 2005 when we all start suffering the snow withdrawels bady again. :)

But to be honest. Yes getting an honest ski test out is extremely important. But after meeting with the CADS people (Canadian Assoc for Disabled Skiers), and seeing how poorly they are funded. It just makes me work all the harder on this test. Because in the end. Sure the honest ski testing info will help the skiing public. But mostly it will help some kid that lost his legs. So he can enjoy skiing on the snow from the money we raise auctioning the test skis. And that is really where the priority of this "Online Reality Ski Test for CADS" should be.:cool:


If any of you would like to maybe donate a few bucks to help with the costs of running the test. Please PM me. Any money left over after costs are paid, will be given directly to CADS. Strict accounting will be applied. An accounting page will be posted on both websites showing receipts for expenses for all to see. Along with statements, reports, and copy's given to the Canadian Gov't, and all sponsors.

But if anybody doesn't feel comfortable with that. Then please think about donating even a buck to CADS. Just go to www.disabledskiers.com for info on that.

I'm counting the days till the lifts open like everybody else. I can't wait. It's going to be a great snow year for everybody. Think Snow:cool:
