WooHooh. Just got "High Life" and the "Seth Morrison Chronicles" in the mail today. Can't wait to watch them at home tonight. I think I got about 6 Michelobs in the fridge. I'm ready to rock and roll!
Any thoughts on these two flicks? Which is better?

never seen the chronicles, but I love High Life. Definitely one of my all time favorite movies. A lot of quality skiing in there, and the music is great too. I'm partial to the Jackson Hole powder seg and the colouir skiing seg with Micah and Nobis.
Enjoy 'em!

I just watched Immersion again last week for the 6billionth time...still the best one out there for me.
wish I had a damn vcr to watch the 10 vhs ski movies I have. I'd really like to watch Flying circus and clay pigeons again. probably like $10 bucks brand new for a VCR at this point...but i'm soooooooo lazy.

I only got a chance to watch about half of "High Life" last night, but wow, it f-in rocked! Wanted to watch the whole thing but some buddies pulled me out of place to go drinkin - oh twist my arm! The music so far has been awesome. I think the music makes all the difference. I loved Sage's segment with Metallica's "For whom the bell tolls" Man did that get me pumped up to go skiing. Micah's and Jeremy's segment was sweet too. It's cool to see it on film after reading about it in Powder. Can I just say "I love powder" - the powder segments at Jackson Hole were killer.
I'm relatively new to skiing and ski movies. I've only seen "Storm", "Cold Fusion", and "Focused".
What ski flicks have some killer rock and roll music in them? I like bands like Metallica, Godsmack, Disturbed, etc.

I dunno really, I like Metallica but not so much Godsmack and I never heard of disturbed. I'm more into reggae in ski movies, I go for more of the soulful stoke than rowdy hardcore stuff. I like that type of music, just not in skiing movies. I'm never that ....angry I guess, while skiing. As far as super sweet movies here's my recomendations:
Immersion - this movie is basically the soul of skiing and my favorite..prolly all the Squaw footage helps too..
Clay Pigeons
Flying Circus
1999
Something about McConkey
Los Alamos
The Walls of Freedom
License to Thrill -takes it back a few years to Stump/Schmidt/Plake just KILLING IT
Ski Movie 1
I"m sure people can reccomend more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head right now
