i use about four different Oakley A frames with dif lenses. yesterday lost my spare pair out of jacket (the black iridiums) really sad.

Anyway bought a pair of the phenoms on my way through town with some store credit I had. I will ski them today and check back in.

however, right out of the box, i thought the little white spec on the lense was paint or glue and picked it off. littele did i know its supposed to be there, hope i didnt f em up already. nothing on box to indicate what that white foam spec is, maybe Smith should address this issue

anyway let you know how i like em after i ski with em

I dig my phenoms. They did fog up on a really wet cold day though - but I'm pretty sure any goggle would have fogged up in those conditions.

Had a warranty issue and Smith was very responsive and gracious in solving the problem. I think they are a stand up company who value their customers. I will keep buying from them.

I love Smith Phenom's. I have 2 pairs. One is from last year, and still going strong. The other is brand new. I like these goggles so much I bought an extra pair. Now I carry one pair with the sensor mirror lens for low visibility, and one pair with the ignitor mirror for sunny days. I used to have prodigy's, but they were too big for my face. If you have a big face, get the prodigy's. Small, or average face: get the phenom's. The quality of Smith goggles is FAR superior to any Oakley goggles. Their customer service is top-notch as well. Stay away from the I/O's if you ski pow. Snow gets trapped between the lens and the face foam and causes fogging. The Phenom's are the nicest goggles out right now.

the I/0's now seal the two lenses at the edge and snow doesn't come in but a haze now appears on the inside lens closest to the face. I drilled small holes through the I/o lenses and it seems to have fixed the problem. Powder and wet days are the days to watch out for. kinda wish i still had the phenoms
