Hi,
I don't understand What are you really want to say.
So please clear with your thoughts. So, We understand you easily
And may provide some better help to you.
I will gonna happy to help you.
Thanks
Jer, being a woman, is alittle confused about these bindings (I think). Since they are advertised as "mens", she in confused if they will work for her.
Do you think they will work for her?
She enjoys agressive skiing and spends most her time on and off the slopes with rich european men who hire her to ski with them when on their vactions from europe.

I'll make an attempt at seriousness.
Been looking for a binding that will hold up to resort pounding 1-2 days a week as well as allow me to go into the bc or sidecountry. The Duke keeps coming up in conversation as the binding I'm probably looking for. I'm thinking about putting them on a pair of Coombas.
Any thoughts?

Do it.
They are heavy.
They can be broken.
But they are loved for a reason (solid clamp, that can tour, and takes both boot types)

I have the dukes on a pair on volkl mantras. Even though they weigh a couple of ounces more than frische or whatnot....it is worth it. Plus to actually feel a few ounces you need to be very sensitive...I noticed nothing.
The din's go up to 16 which I admit is a bit un neccesary, but it can't hurt. If you have no use for an AT binding I would strongly suggest the marker jester...weighs less but is still a beefy binding.
For lighter weight skiers and the ladys go for A. Baron's (at setup) din of 12
or B. Griffons.
all in all though the DUKE is called the DUKE for a reason....impressive binding that i strongly suggest!

I've got em mounted on Coombas, love em. My skiing terrain is similar to yours, looking to get more BC this season. Picked up another pair that I'm putting on a pair of Prophet 90's or I'm toying with the idea of picking up a pair of Bros and slapping them on those.

Anyone notice any difference between these and the Fritschi FR+, with regard to twisting fall releases? As the Dukes/Barons are somewhat closer to an alpine binding, are they any better with the FR+, where have not always been happy? (Plenty of people have been perfectly happy with the FR+ I know).

If these damn things came in fuschia, I'd already have them on all my skis.
