finally, new jersey surf is good. after waiting the whole summer, theres finally something workeable. yesterday morning, the wave peaks were as high as 6-8 feet, and the lowest waves of the day were 3-4 feet(high tide). today, it was around chest high, and based on the predictions its staying this way for around a week. finally, the ocean knows its summer. everyone, this wont last long so east coast surfers skip work and get out there, its sprongin.

figures the first decent swell to hit "the shore" this summer arrives the same week my car gets fucked up twice and I can't get a transport to the sea that will fit my board as well. Plus I had three hospital visits this week.

once again, another perfect day. in the morning it was thigh high, but as the day went on it was head high. perfect!

i surfed among a see of 10 yr olds and kooks, gashed my board on a rock that kept popping up, and now i'm at work. yay.

sucks man. but if you were able to catch some waves, its not all that bad. i myself had a great time, the waves were perfectly hollow at my favorite point, resulting in some nice tube rides. as they day went on though, it was all beach break. one time i pulled out too late, and yeah, it sucked. thing is, which beach break you just gotta know when to pull out.
