This jacket is so diesel. You can't beat riding in a down jacket. It proved very useful with this recent cold snap here in Colorado. Negative temps and wind chills of -30 did not phase me a bit with this on. It's incredibly comfortable and it has more pockets than a billiard club... seriously I don't have enough stuff to put in them. The front pockets are roomy enough for my Canon G9 and so accessible. Hiking in this jacket will get you warm really quick, but the pit zips help and if it gets too hot in there I just throw it on my pack and go to work. Did I forget to mention the style factor? I feel like a pimp every time I put it on. In my 20+ years of skiing, this is by far my favorite jacket I've ever owned.
word. i clicked that jacket randomly on accident at the north face website and thought it was pimp. thanks for the review fish, i'm totally gonna get one.
