I’ve been using this pov set up for a while now and I love it, its easy
to use, waterproof, durable, and captures your unique perspective. It
uses AA batteries and I found that re-chargeable last way longer and
you don't have to throw anything away. The quality is better than ever
and the wireless remote is super handy and easy to use. I carry the
unit in my pocket so a backpack isn't necessary all the time. 2 gig
card gives you 90min of rec time which I’ve yet to max out in a big day.
POV.1: I have used many different types of helmet cams with little
success. So I was leary to try the POV.1, it work great. Very
surprised how easy it was to use. So nice that there is a little
screen to watch your run, no bulky video camera to deal with. Then you
load the vids onto your computer and your ready to do an edit.
This fully integrated system is waterproof, dustproof and
shock-resistant. It is extremely easy to use to capture your point of
view action. The unit captures high-resolution frames and downloads
directly to your computer making editing and online distribution a
piece of cake. The POV.1 comes with various mounts and allows you to
be creative in capturing whatever action you’re looking to get into. I
have worked with many helmet camera set-ups and this is far and away
the best unit I have ever used!

we got to borrow one of these last year for almost the whole season. it was really fun and really easy to use. super nice to work with, as you can playback videos right then and delete on the hill if they're terrible.
these have surprisingly good quality footage. they get a little grainy if it's really dark out, or if you go over 50mph, they start fuzzing a little. We used it both for downhill skiing and also for downhill mountain biking. Once you get the mount dialed in for facing the right angle, it's pretty easy.
thought about buying one, but realized i didn't have that kind of money.
