Once the Dynafit binding is mounted - how much can it be adjusted to fit different boots?

different size boots? Please clarify what you are asking.

Which one? I have some TLTs which moved enough to switch from Scarpas to Garmonts. I'm guessing the total adjustment range is on the order of 0.5cm, but I'm not sure. If your heelpiece is in the middle of the range you probably only have 2-3mm of travel to play with.

It depends on the model. I believe that the comfort has the most adjustment.

race-oriented models: none
speed/classic: 6mm (i.e., rather minimal)
Comfort & Vertical ST/FT: 26mm (i.e., very similar to typical alpine downhill binding)
Vertical Rental: 56mm

(although needs to be updated for new FT12)

Yes, I meant if I begin with a cheaper softer boot and then decide to switch to a different one later, which will likely be a little different length.
So it seems with the STs or FTs this shouldn't be a problem.
