Went for a little ride in my back yard with JTrue and Springsproject to an trail I hadn't ridden before. I'd avoided it because the guide says it's really brutal climb. We decided the solution was to ride it on the single speeds! About as steep as I'd ever went to attempt on that bike and I had to walk a little but JTrue cleaned the whole thing.:yourock:

This place really aint so bad.

OH, sorry for the crappy photos.

What was the trail? Was the descent worth the climb?

Up to Ensign peak from City Creek behind the Capital. Worth it.

Boneville shoreline north, or "Ensign Peak", from city creek toward N. Salt Lake, then at the radio towers we went east and up and did a loop out to some city creek overlook and back. Super fun and roller coaster like so we were getting up these really steep hills without having to do much work. That is, once we finished the climb, which was indeed fairly brutal.

In short, yes, worth it.
