I'm putting together a short fishing movie mainly for personal enjoyment over the winter, but it'll be up here.
I've made a few in the past and used music from a wide variety including Roots Manuva, Thievery Corp, Pocket Dwellers, Rage Against the Machine, Slightly Stoopid, among others. I've searched hi and lo using my pea sized music sourcing abilities for artists whose sound fits what I'm doing now so I'm putting it out there for recommendations.
The type of sound I'm looking for could be described as a mix somewhere in between Rage and DJ Shadow. Shadow for the electronic, but progressive rhythms and Rage for the bursts of aggression which sometimes come with built up anticipation.
In other vids I've put together I've used both Rage and Shadow at different times, but for this I'm looking for an artist, preferably in the "electronic" genre (but I'm flexible) which fits this combination bill.
Example: I used Rage and Shadow (organ donor) in this one...
