Not, who do you want to win. But gut feeling, who's gonna win.

One rule, no opinion on somebody elses prediction.(if your the type to follow rules) There is enough other debate threads.

Personally, after the last two elections, I'm predicting McCain/Palin.

Obama/Biden.

I mean fuck, I have participation in the Padded Room riding on this.

(and no, I will not be voting for that ticket)

Either way, we all will lose.

I think if Obama wins, my father in law croaks from boredom. Ranting about bush is the only thing that's got him out of bed the last 8 years.

Imagine the excitement/terror of McCain kicking the bucket and Palin becoming president-that should keep him rising early.

I think this race will be too close to call and will go down to the wire. But if I had to pick I'd say McCain because of all the retard's that subscribe to Palin's ultra-conservative views.

I heard a major pollster on the radio today saying that this election would be close until the last few days (barring some major "surprise"). His feeling was that it would swing in the last few days and that whoever wins would win big. I think he referenced 1980 as an election when that happened (Reagan over Mondale?).

Obama... already a done deal.

But neither of these candidates are nearly as boring as Fritz. Good God, that guy could put caffeine to sleep.

Obie in a nail biter.

Sadly, this election isn't about the people on the ticket or their stance on the issues. Barring something obsurd and unexpected, this election is already decided. The country has moved further and further to a polarizing seperation. Just about everyone already knows who they will be voting for. I feel like I'm watching a game on DVR. The outcome is decided but noone knows who won.

That being said. Obama/Biden is my gut feeling. And I'm going out on a limb and saying that it wont be close. At least ten points in the popular vote and a larger margin in the Electoral College.

I'm just as interested in how each ticket markets itself as I am in the result. Dont get me wrong, I care and I'll be voting but as I said, I think its a forgone conclusion. I'm just not sure which way.

Kudos to the american people if you elect Obama. That would be an outstanding, stunning, statement to the world.
My gut feeling : McCain. I don't see a black POTUS (named Hussein !) elected yet. I believe that enough democratic leaning voters will choose McCain at the last minute, once in the voting booth, to beat Obama. Based on nothing but my prejudiced view of humanity.
I sure hope I'm wrong. Palin is scary.

(Oh, yes, I don't vote).

My brain says Obama. In a two party system, swing voters are essentially voting for/against the incumbent party. And swing voters will decide this election because the entrenched/idealogical voters are split more or less evenly in this country. So even if McCain portrays himself as a "maverick" (which is a load of shit, but that's another issue), he's carrying Bush's baggage. I started another thread here (http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1984728#post1984728) about this idea.

But my gut says McCain. The GOP are better at politics than the Dems. A lot better. Especially when it comes to dirty politics. Plus he'll get the racist vote.

Yeah but Obama will get the sexiest vote.

I am going to bet Obama/Biden. I also don't think it will be all that close once people start to pay a little attention to what is going on. Right now it is still a beauty contest, and people are just looking at personalities. If you people think a little, and I think the swing voters will eventually think, it will swing toward Obama.

It's illegal if you're 'merican.

Otherwise we'd bet heavily on our candidate of choice, spend a mint to get him elected, and balance the books with a profit at the bookie's afterwards.
