It's pretty civil compared to the wide open plains of the internet
He just posted some youtube stuff.
He posted stuff he believes in (stand-up stuff for such a Dem dominated forum)
He never got into name calling.
Finally, he's part of this community that contributes more that just a coupla threads regarding political banter.

Ya I know, it's just the Internet. I didn't call him any names, I questioned his motives. I just didn't expect that from Astropax, he seems to be more mature. I just want to know where he stands on the issues and why. Is that too much to ask from a respected community member who is posting childish youtube videos without any of his own insight?

I think he just accepted Rush Limbaugh as his savior and part of the initiation process is to publically admit to your self inflicted mental retardation by posting multiple youtube vids that are beyond old news at this point. I for one think he did a great job of selling his stupidity. Way to go Assholelax.

I think it's so funny that the OP in this thread, and many many others like it accuse someone of being mean, calling names, and slinging mud without giving said topic any real thought are guilty of the exact same name calling/mud-slinging only a few short posts later.

I didn't watch Astro's vid's and I don't have to, I've heard the story. The point is, don't claim in 99% of your posts that the other political party is evil and resorts solely to name calling, mud slinging, and "rovianism" when you're guilty of the exact same thing.

Very true...I wasn't trying to be "above-board"...I was just having fun with the apax...he posted what, four threads within minutes of one another all about a different conspiracy theory about Barry...it was just amazingly misinformed and ridiculous...I thought he was just messing around...if he's serious then well that's anotehr story

Personally, I don't separate somebody's actions from what they are. If somebody acts childish, they actually are childish. If somebody acts really dumb and butthurt (say - because they start a really dumb and butthurt thread), they actually are dumb and butthurt.
