I see a lot of angry, bitter, mudslinging posts.
How many of you would actually say a quarter of the shit you post here in the same way to someone's face?
I would.
This has already been discussed like a bazillion times.

That's right. I forgot the audience. Testosterone amped young guys.
I forgot everyone here walks the walk and talks the talk.

That depends on whether I'm drunk or not.

I believe I'm a bit different in person than on here. Nothing wrong with that as far I can tell.
But you'd know as well as anyone what maggots are like in person since you know quite a few of us including myself.
By the way, if anyone is wondering, Tark is cool in person. And one hell of an athlete.

The board is like creme brulee, Tark.
Tough crust with a smooth inner filling.
If it was easy, everybody would be drinking it through a straw.

I think 95% of what I post here I would say face to face. I rarely get involved in true asshatary, and most express opinions that I would express face to face. I may tone it down a little, but usually if my hair is up, it is because someone was being an asshat in the first place.

Most maggots I've met are pretty legit face to face. They tone down the confrontational tone a little, but usually I'm skiing, camping, or drinking with them. Not arguing politics.

Suck it, turd.
I'd kill for one of those Trader Joe's frozen creme brulees right now. I could prob get it up through a straw, if it was a McDonalds oversized straw and not a standard diameter plastic tube.

In a past forum life I sometimes spoke in a way that wouldn't have helped me keep my teeth in the real world. These days I know that its a small enough community that how I talk online will come back to me, so I try not to add to any natural dissadvantage that I already have by acting the dick artificially online. Its tough enough as it is these days to get a break and when one comes along it'd be pretty sad to loose out just because 'they' saw me being an aggro hate filled dickhead.

I do all the time most of my friends are bleeding heart liberals. Oddly enough I'm the only one out of my group of friends who payed for my own education, grew up in low income housing with a single mom, and had to work at a ski area to be able to afford to ski. Not that any of that should make a difference but those are the only two differences.

Yes. In the real world, I don't just go up to total strangers and start ripping apart their political views. But - if the discussion gets started...
A few times in the past couple years I've been trapped on a lift with some loser who obviously can't let go of his political douchebaggery long enough to enjoy skiing. I usually keep it short and to the point - "Listen, pal - I don't want to hear your little pitch for whatever queeby religous cult you are a member of, ok?".
I see a lot of angry, bitter, mudslinging posts.
I'd also like tark to throw up some examples of these "bitter, angry, mudslinging posts".

you were rather brusque and arrogant in person - not much different than you are online.

Gutless wannabee wangsta.
I bet you wouldn't even dare post that to my avatar if you weren't hiding behind that alias.
