So I was happy with my 190 Katana decision from last season to fill out the middle of my quiver.

My problem now is I got a new pair of 190 Katana's in on warranty. I currently have a pair of 189 Seth Vicious skis for every day and added a pair of 06/07 192 DPS 138's flex 3 recently.

So my current quiver would be 189 Vicious for everyday, 190 Katana's for powder and couple days after storm, and my 138's for epic days. After reading about the 4frnt ehp and Armada JJ, it has me wondering if I should trade the Katana's for a pair of EHP's or JJ's?

I like my Katana' for charging and crud busting. I'm 6' and 180 and ski agressivly mostly in Mammoth. What whould you guys do with a pair of new Katana's in my situation. I know there are a lot of threads bashing the longevity of the Katana's..... but that aside.

if you have the seths, id definitely trade for jj's or ehps. in that order.

At first I was thinking the JJ's, but then I was thinking maybe the JJ would not be good at cut up and the EHP's might be better for the middle of my quiver.

I wonder how the JJ' and EHP's would handle cut up powder compaired to the Katana's?

dont know as they are both new this year, but i would assume the rockered tip on both make them better in crud than the katanas. maybe look into the kuros?

The good and bad news of ski production these days. Too many good skis to choose from. With that being said, whatever you get will be awesome. Something I am trying to learn

I have skied my EHPs everyday last season, I bought some Rossi B100s for everyday, but I skied them one day & stayed on the EHP. I skied the JJ at a demo @ snowbasin last season. The JJ is cool, shape wise, but I like my EHP. The JJ seemed softer, flex wise; seemed to "flap" at speed. They both will stay on top of crud, not blast through. I am smaller than you, so I think you would like the EHP, b/c it is stiffer imo.

^^^^ Have you skied the katana compared to the EHP's? I wonder what the comparison is between them?
