the indie rap cats know what side of their bread is buttered...giving away free b-sides and official bootlegs just stokes your fanbase and gets them hyped for the "real" release/tour/whatever.

atmosphere has been good about tossing out freebies and i think it benefits his career in the long run.

i mean if the Rolling Stones had tossed a free album up on the net I might have been a little more inclined to cough up $400 to see them live...NOT!

i may actually like SL better'n Lemons just cuz it's looser and has that old New School flavor nailed (the beats are funkier, too).
