The non-vote option is the default. But you seem to prefer Nader (http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=911), so what's the complaint?

For anyone who simply *must* be counted among the clueless - there are plenty of absurd options listed. Pick one, it doesn't matter which, it'll mean just as little.

yep, i'm totally clueless because i selected nader on a tgr poll - rock-solid logic there, buddy! fyi - i didn't select whom i actually plan to vote for, unlike in an actual election.

it's the internet, dumbfuck. try not to take tgr poll results so seriously.

Soundin' awfully serious there, chump.
Take a 5-minute relaxation response break.

The poll asks whom you prefer, not whom you will vote for, precisely in order to sidestep questions of votering strategery.

You misinformed mouth-breathing functional illiterate.

David Witherspoon

No, my inferrence was spot on.
Your self-refutations amuse me in direct proportion to the degree to which you cannot see them.

The incorrectness of your inference (not "inferrence," you mouth-breathing functional illiterate) isn't so damning as the blind yet colossal arrogance required to confidently make such an unsupportable claim based on almost no evidence (wrongly interpreted at that) -
- and then to stick to it when even a moment's cogent thinking would reveal the foolhardiness of that behavior.

Your seriosity at what you (wrongly) perceived as überseriosity just ices the cake.

So try to chill out a bit. There's nothing wrong with being dumber than average. About half of everyone is.

How's that foot tasting?

Or maybe it's like here: most of the people that prefer McCain are ashamed to admit it.
Either that or they're too senile to hit the right checkbox.

Either way, it looks like Obama with a 58 point lead.
I am a bit disappointed that Nader only tied McCain.

I wouldna bet on that outcome, based on the fountain of homophobic redneck hypernationalistic ranting here - three to two, at most - I guess the rightwingnuts are ~10x noisier than normal people.

Then again, I ditn' spect the Prohibition guy to beat McCain either. Must be a bunch of grumpy Utards tryna see how the rest of you like it.

And who said liberals weren't the arrogant ones? (read: if you don't vote my way, you're uninformed, clueless and a peasant mouth-breather)

Um, as far as I've seen, TGR isn't exactly overflowing with modesty, whether to the left or to the right of the centrist jellyfish position. I see conservatives calling liberals idiots quite often (tell me you haven't at least thought so), while at the same time calling them arrogant. :rolleyes2 Cry me a river you pansy. It goes both ways.

Personally I don't think that conservatives lack intelligence, I think there often is a lack of moral integrity. The conservative platforms tend to appeal to people's self interest, while liberalism appeals to people's compassion, but disregards the interests of individuals (which is not so much immoral as impractical).

I actually think that both things are valuable in proper proportion. Government should no more be guided solely by interest in the individual, than it is by interest in societal health. One cannot exist with disregard for the other.

Now breathe through your nose dammit! :the_finge

P.S. I said that not because I think you are unintelligent, but because it seems to bother you. :FIREdevil

OK Grigory - who here do you consider a Conservadouche? The four people who said they like McCain? As I've said a thousand times before - left-wing freakshows (you) think anybody who's not a left-wing freakshow like themselves is automatically a right wing freakshow.

Personally, I love the arrogant Librodouches. This place would suck without them.

dear david witheredspoon.
i hesitate to address one of your brilliance, but you are clearly the most intelligent visitor to this padded room, and probably the only one who would be conversant on this issue.
i beg you to explain why this above-politics-politician obama would resort to extreme intimidation trying to shut down a wgn radio show discussing the misuse of a $500,000,000 donation to improve chicago schools. and obama was the lead community organizer dispensing the money.
of course i would like to follow the herd and vote for him,so i hope you can clear this up so that i can do so. please use words that i can understand as i am a product of chicago schools.
thanks in advance

I'll match any two posters' contributions to the Obama campaign, dollar for dollar up to $50 each, if they will then make the same offer, in good faith, to at least one other poster here; preferably two or more, but that's up to you.

If you voted Obama in this poll - lend a hand. Make a similar offer. Specify the number of contributors and the dollar amount for each, like: ten people at $10 each, or two people at $100 each, etc.

Unamericans like Dr. Roo can't contribute to campaigns. Not directly, anyway. There are ways, of course.

The TTipsters already took my $100 there & put up another $250. If you have an alias over there, money's on the table.

Wendigo has taken up my offer on the first $50 - and offered to match two more people, dollar for dollar up to $50 each.
Here it is, take his money, double your impact. (http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1980934&highlight=dollar+match+offer#post1980934)

That means there's now $150 waiting on the table.
