Moon song on VW ad??

I know someone out there knows the name of the song and artist.

From the VW car commercial where some teenagers are cruising in the car on a dark, winding road to a party and the "unknown moon song" is playing in the background. They go to get out of car at the party then realize it would just be cooler to cruise in the car all night and listen to tunes.

I never have figured out what the name of the song is and who the artist is, but find myself humming it everyonce in a while and its driving me crazy.

Yup - he's great. I've got a couple cds and like them both. definitely mellower than mellow, but great stuff.
