UNADULTERATED CRAP
That would be my characteristic of this novel.
And it all gets summed up to a royal massive shit of a conclusion.
Imagine if shakespeare had spent 500 pages writing romeo and juliet, then tacked on a one chapter ending proclaiming that romeo was only drunk not dead and that juliet was faking her death.
That is my summary of the Deep End of the Ocean
What I assume is also a massive shitfest of a movie, holding out the mother as some kind of realist heroine, unlike how she is portrayed in the book.
I had 5 hrs to kill today and read the book from cover to ending, and I proclaim it unevenly unsatisfying and godawful.
Thus ends my negative review of this book, and if I had any other choice even reading through the technical manual for a ti-80 I would take it over re-reading this suckfest.
Oprah's book club can kiss my ass.
