Hi Guys
New chap from the UK here, who has found reading threads pretty insightful.
Anyway as title suggests, I tore my ACL and lateral meniscus last March and had reconstruction (hamstring) last November.
Rehabilitation was ok (didn't have access to physio) which contained a lot of gym work on the cycle and working on building Hamstrings and Quads.
After 7 months surgery I am still unable to run on the knee as after a few minutes the top of the tibia (where is joins the knee cap).
Also more worryingly a lump has appeared again in the same place (below the knee cap) and is very prominent when the knee is flexed. This is where the pain is concentrated also.
I went to see the OS a while back who after taking an x ray believes this to be soft tissue, which is bizarre as the lump feels like bone. He suggests there is nothing that can be done and is a by product of the op and may settle down over time.
Has anybody else experienced similar issues or have recommendations of next steps?
MAny Thanks
