I have been contemplating these ugly things for a while, but now that I have a bum knee to deal with, I really think they would be good. They are kind of expensive--but not really considering regular sneaks are $80 or so. I have tried them on and they are awesome. the website claims they lessen pressure on knee joints by 19%. does anyone have them and like them? My sister does, but she said they give her blisters.

Not suitable for any lifting workouts whatsoever!
According to a friend, they are good to walk in, but feel unstable. I'm skeptical about the benefits of running in them.
There are a few 'barefoot' technology sneakers/shoes out now. Have you researched any others?

no i havnt, but maybe i should. When i was first able to put weight on my knee, it definitely felt like i needed more cushion, so i thought of these again. i am not buying them for running--i did run prior to injury, but i'll probably focus on biking now. I have tried them on and i can see how they would be unstable--like wearing wedge heels almost. last thing i need to do now is have my ankle give out and be on the floor.

Not sure on the variety but they have them at a store here in town. I might swing by to check them out.
