A few idiots think it might be neat to assault cyclists with their truck.

A cyclist was nearly run off the road in my hometown, and at the next stop light, confronted the driver, saying hey, you cant drive like that around here, you have to watch out for us, etc, and, the driver who was on the way to his daughters soccer turnament, with the daughter in the car, proceeded to punch the cyclist in the face, who fell over because he was still clipped in with one foot, the driver proceeded to get out of the car, and kick the shit out of the cyclist. the driver was arrested and the cyclist was in the hospital for a bit.
angers me
angers me deeply.

A can of mace can make for a nice suprise when confronted by a dickhead.

Spray that shit all over inside the car. Not only will they be suffering, but there car will essentially be destroyed.

it's funny how those neanderthalic fvcktards obsess about the whole gay thing. buttsex references in every post.

fortunately, tgr forums don't get frequented by conflicted homophobes/closet cases like that.

Reading that thread just made me dumber. Why are those people so pissed about bikes?

The talk radio stations around the Twin Cities area really have it hard for cyclists. Mpls/StPaul area is second only to Portland as a "cycling community" (or so it's reported), but the anti-bike sentiment around here is getting downright hostile. Some of it we have earned, but a lot of it is a little over the top. Fucking ClearChannel... :fuckyou:

Too bad there's so many BAD cyclists out there. When I commute by bike, I'm always pretty careful about following the "rules of the road" and make a show of it when motorists are around. Too many cyclists are just COMPLETELY oblivious to anything/anyone around them. It gives the rest of us a bad name. And then there are rednecks... :rolleyes2

I ride far more than I drive and your thought's about "bad" cyclists are true around my area of town. Everytime Lemond goes out for a ride, guys in their full on race outfits fall in behind him. On any given Sat hwy 15 around Lake Mtka looks like a major tour stop. Keeping in mind there's no shoulder on hwy 15 and it's a two lane winding road around a lake. That frankly does piss me off a bit but then I'll be on my bike later in the day so I take a deep breath and move on. Some folks have trouble with that.
