I flexed the gotama next to the v-ex in the shop yesterday and I can confirm these results. It is not THAT much softer, but sorta more rounded flex. Sploder tail is stiffer for sure.

I saw a project in the hall in the Mechanical Engineering building at UW that had a similar goal/setup as yours. Some sort of joint project between K2 and UW. I'll see if there is a website.

Is the site you had that explained the numbers still up?

i'll have to look around where i tossed it,

this year's pistol, then again, the look the same...

the problem with the one flex number is that you flex the ski all the way. some skis, especially pow sticks, have different parts that are softer and others that are stiffer, so its difficult to map the stiffness of ze board and ze number might not be accurate.

The rumor over at the K2 board was that next years Seth Pistols might be a tad stiffer, but will definitely have different graphics. I'd be surpirsed if they changed the ski mid-winter, so it'll probably be a next year ski. But the Fujative might come out mid-winter... Its pretty much K2's copy of the Pollard Pro.

Negative Ghostrider, the Fujative is the same as the PE, only difference is it is 5mm wider underfoot.

Fujative 113/85/104 179 (or 180, i don't remember) cm.
Pollard 118/86/111 186cm
