Who's gonna sak up and hit the shoe with me? I've got some local guides but would be stoked to see some EC maggs out there. Will be there Friday night, riding Sat and Sun.

If you see Buzz tell him I said waddup...same to Phil if you meet him.
I'm definitely jealous.

I wish, I'll be moving my gf into Fordham that weekend.

I would be all over this, but I'm locked into a trip that weekend and the following week. As a small consolation prize, I will be riding Tsali that weekend.

Snowshoe has some nice campsites to do it on the cheap. Last year ladies rode free on Sunday too.
Might be able to make it down there. it's hard too these days with wisp being so close. it's not snowshoe but there are some good trails.

Hey, this is a thread about going to Snowshoe, not excuses about why you can't.
bags - will do. The ohio crew is getting pummeled by early season over-zealousness...2 broken collarbones and some ribs out at horn's hill in the past 2 weeks, including Mark. Weaksauce.

Am I supposed to be there??
Hey MarsB, you there? Hook up with Particle, he is a good man.
J, MarB is in Morgantown and loves riding the Shoe. PM him to see if he is coming. Another very cool mag. WV riders do rock. :D

C'mon, it's 2 hours with a heavy foot, and sooooo much better than Wisp*. :D
Hey, you see Timberline is bringing DH back? Any idea if it'll be any good?
*It's been at least 5 years since I rode Wisp, and back then they had 1 DH trail and a lame 4X course.

Hartlove and company have put some good effort getting Wisp up to snuff the past few years. It's still no Snowshoe, but it's pretty damn fun. It's definitely vastly improved from 5 years ago. It's up to about 6 - 8 trails, some nice DJs, the old 4X was replaced with a MUCH better Dual Slalom course, some shore obstacles, and a good variety of trails ranging in skill level/style/flowy to techy/etc.
I am stoked for Timberline. I haven't heard first hand accounts, but the pics that were linked off of Ridedonkey looked pretty cool. 'Bout time someone finally got something going for big bikes in CV.

bump for anyone who hasn't seen this yet, but I think most of the area mags have checked in. I will be staying at Leather Bark...

Nevermind, I'm sad in the pants now. No SS for me. Will hopefully be back for the first race in late June.
