Does anyone know how a 185 Kingswood midfat/archtype skis in comparison to a gotama? Regular flex vs. Stiff flex? and how those compare to the flex and feel of a gotama. Thanks.

No idea. But you could probably get 3 pairs of gotamas for the price of the kwoods.

I have the kingswood midfats from a couple years ago. Regular flex. Great ski, with great construction. I would get the extra flex. The regular is a tad too soft in the shovel for my taste @ 5'7" 145#.

I have never skied gots though so I have no way to compare the two.

Was at that point a year ago and went with the Goats simply for the price tag. Late season deals on Goats run at € 250-300 here, not sure about NA. By the time the Kingswoods arrive you really spent 3x the money when including shipping since they don't provide that discounts.

PM Skier666 for his opinion. He had both and after talking to him I went the way above.

And you could break all three made-in-china pairs before you broke your KW's.

I may be selling my KW Mid Fats extra stiff in the near future, in case you're interested. Less than 10 days on them and are in great shape.
